– Dispatch Operator
Position Summary
Benford Protection Group’s (BPG) is seeking a Dispatch Operator who will be responsible for overseeing BPG day to day scheduling operations and activities of their assigned shift. This position increases the level of service BPG provides, it also ensures a strong and positive security posture that promotes professionalism which improves the overall safety and security of all clients, employees, and company assets. Must become extremely knowledgeable of policies and procedures set forth by BPG and apply it to all sites under the protection of BPG. Will hold all officers accountable for their own attendance. Investigate incidents and/or customer complaints and compile data for accurate reporting.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provides Officers with their schedules as needed.
- Needs to be fully fluent with Tracktik.
- Responsible for the tracking of the clock in/out times for all officers assigned to a post.
- Acts as a communication liaison through answering incoming phone calls from Client, Employees, Etc.
- Monitor any attendance discrepancies and report them to BPG Operations Management.
- Develop professional relationships with the Officers to reduce the stress that comes with last minutes schedule changes.
- Maintains a high level of professionalism and conducts yourself in a manner that does not reflect a negative image on themselves or Benford Protection Group.
- Maintains regular and consistent attendance record.
- Ensures personal accountability by familiarizing themselves with and adhering to all rules and regulations, policies and orders set forth by Benford Protection Group.
- Collaborate with management to handle and accommodate the need of emergency changes to the schedule.
- Responsible for limiting the amount of overtime hours used.
- Needs to fill vacations request 2 weeks before they begin.
- Needs to be an above average report writer. Checking Tracktik for productivity (walkdowns/report)
- Must create and maintain logs of all calls made/received and prepare reports as needed.
- Has knowledge of local jurisdiction laws (federal, state, etc.) as well as company policies, and procedure.
- Must have strong knowledge of the times of deployment and standard operating procedure for most site.
Required Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
- Must be able to read and write in English.
- Previous experience with TrackTik or other scheduling software.
- Must possess the ability to clearly articulate expectations using written communications as well as effectively verbalizing expectations.
- Must be able to maintain sound quality of work with minimal supervision.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suites
- Is strategic and helps others by communicating often including providing rationale and vision for changes.
- Actively listens and seeks to understand.
- Must be able to work any shift including weekend, night, and holidays; and/or work extended hours if required.
- Must be self-motivated and willing to work with others.

Education & Experience:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must have one to three years’ experience in security administration.
- Must have one to three years’ customer service experience with experience with high call volume and multi-line phone system.
- Must have Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC)
- Proficient with skills used to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites.

– Sergeant
Position Summary
The Sergeant will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer. Act as a liaison between Operations Management, Account Managers, and security personnel. Supervise staff on assigned site/s, provide coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range. This position requires knowledge and understanding of daily operations and BPG’s policies and procedures.
General Duties
- Oversee that all aspects of the security function on-site are performed in a diligent manner (staffing, uniform, scheduling, and on-site training).
- Ensures quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel assigned to his/her site.
- Enforces BPG’s policies as outlined in the Employee handbook, bulletins, and post orders.
- Meets all contractual scheduled hours with a minimum of unbilled overtime.
- Assists with the communication of policies, company announcements and job openings.
- Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under his/her direct supervision.
- Provides the basis of a great place to work by treating staff with respect.
- Helps Account or Operations Manager identify, meet and exceed the needs of the customer.
- Implement security and safety improvements that benefit the company’s assets, visitors, tenants and employees as directed by the Director of Security.
- Develops and maintains positive relations with tenants, contractors, local law enforcement, community and groups or associations that benefit the company.
